Sounds silly doesn't it?

If you walked into your local dry cleaner they would probably clean your wedding dress in "perc," which is a pretty nasty chemical. Fact: 95% of US dry cleaners use perc.

Arthur Copeland Cleaners has not used this damaging chemical since November of 2009.

After years of research we found a great method of cleaning wedding dresses (as well as your everyday garments) that uses liquid CO2, which happens to be the same stuff that creates the bubbles in champagne!

This process is so rare that there are only 14 machines worldwide.

(While we don't actually use champagne bubbles, the process is pretty darn close).

Cleaning your dress properly and responsibly is the first step in our all-natural preservation process. The mantra and goal at our wedding dress cleaning facilities is to restore your dress to like-new condition, that's how dedicated we are to the cleaning process; we want to achieve as close to perfection as possible.

Let me give you a tip: The most important part of the preservation process is the actual cleaning of your dress - this is the hard part and the crucial step that many cleaners take lightly.

After your dress is cleaned to the Arthur Copeland "like-new standard," we perform our preservation magic.

We were taught the correct way to preserve wedding dresses from major museums. Our head preservationist studied fine art conservation at the School of Visual Arts and at New York University. We don't preserve your dress with "hocus pocus" tricks, we simply do what the most credible museums do.

And best of all, you can open your storage vessel anytime to look at your gown - in fact, we encourage you to do so!

Preservation of your wedding gown doesn't have to be complicated, and yes, your dress can be cleaned in champagne bubbles!
